From a legal, political and diplomatic perspective and according to The Hawaiian Kingdom Constitution the term “Hawaiian” is purely, and simply an indicator of one’s nationality based, according to The Hawaiian Kingdom Constitution, on one’s native birth in the Hawaiian Islands, one’s established legal Hawai’i residency, one”s mo’okū’auhau Hawai’i or by a royal decree from the mo’i.
